oh dear what an idiot i am
so Hot Lies is on SATURDAY and Unwritten Law is on SUNDAY.
this is a good realisation to come to though. for it means i can stay out until the wee hours of the morning BOTH SHOWS. and for some reason i had in my head that Unwritten Law was at Uni Bar... maybe because thats the last place i saw mxpx... i really need to READ FLYERS more carefully.

Will SOMEONE please inform the world that Simple Plan are SHIT. Whenever one of their songs comes on the radio at work or on MTV i am ever so tempted to stick a fork into a toaster and hold onto it until i become a fried mess on the floor. to make things worse, Simple Plan have a new release coming out this month meaning there's going to be a severe 'Im-in-a-god-awful-pop-band" overload. someone please grab a pistol and kill me now to save myself.
Boulevard of Broken Dreams is the next single to drop from American Idiot by Green Day. Its probably my favourite track from the release so i hope it doesnt get incredibly thrashed, although i know it will.
Still recovering from illnress and while doing so, i have discovered that Lindsay Lohen is daaaaamn fine, Jessica Alba doesnt look good with curly hair, Missy Elliott is the best thing about Honey and MTV has way too many ads for mobile phone ringtones.
Thirteen is a CRAZY movie. its not a movie that you can say you liked or enjoyed, but holy shit it was incredible and blew me away, and made me feel kinda sick.

DEAR NOVA,
i am forced to listen to your radio station at work, and while i am quite a fan of alot of popular music, i have a few points of complaint.
please, can you widen your playlist at least by another 20 songs. in the past 3 weeks of being at my current place of employment i have heard a very select number of tunes played on your station despite time of day. i am sick to death of hearing grinspoon and killing heidi. two days ago you played the new killing heidi song 4 times within as many hours, as well as their song from the spiderman soundtrack twice. overkill much?
there are many songs that i used to like- such as American idiot by Green Day, or Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson.
However due to your lack of creativity in constructing your playlists, i now would rather stab myself in the eye with a fork contaminated with aids than hear these songs again.
Also, if you are going to play local music, at least play GOOD local bands. today while on the can at work you played an Adelaide band called Foreshore. were you warned before playing this song that they have an extremely high SUCK value? "rocking local talent?" i would not even wipe my ass with their so called great EP.
Please take what i have into consideration, or i will have to come and personally bomb your headquarters

i made the worlds best sandwich today. oh god i could eat that over and over again... i want it again. i love the food at work, i went shopping after my shift today and got 2 different kinds of semi dried tomatoes, home made hommus, tzaziki, spicy capsicum dip, 2 different gourmet cheeses, 2 types of marinated tofu, avocados, and pineapple for mum. then i went next door to brumbys and got nice bread... came home and yeah... sanga with hommus, semi dried tomatoes, avocado and this rad cheese with herbs in it... HOLY SHIT MANGS
now mums baking a cake or something. i can see my weight increasing badly.
i really wanna get these cds: Chingy- Jackpot, Green Day- American Idiot, SayAnything- is a real boy, Saosin (whatever its called), Straylight Run (ABOUT FUCKING TIME GUYS!) and of course the new Blood Brothers. this week i might get a couple. and my MXPX ticket. and pay people back.

likelihood of mikki moving to Melbourne next year- 80%
likelihood of mikki staying in Adelaide and putting up with way too many fucks- 20%
dont get me wrong i love some Adelaide kids but the number of ones i love is getting slimmer by the week, the amount i get pissed off by people and their attitudes is creeping up higher and higher and my love for Melbourne kids grows and grows.
